Adapt a brownie recipe
Choose a recipe, tell the tool how many pieces you normally cut it into, then choose your target yield and pans. The workspace scales the ingredient list, compares pan area, estimates the change in average batter depth and explains what the pan-material change means for baking.
What the workspace can calculate reliably
Ingredient quantities and pan areas can be scaled mathematically. Average batter depth can be estimated from the relationship between batter multiplier and pan-area multiplier. Baking time cannot be scaled by the same factor because heat transfer depends on depth, material, colour, oven behaviour and the recipe itself.
How to use the result
A depth ratio close to 1.00 means the adapted batter should sit at roughly the same average depth as the original. A larger ratio means a thicker layer and usually a longer path for heat to reach the centre. A smaller ratio means a thinner layer that can finish sooner.
